Journey of the bearded man
Through the Alaskan wilderness
Strength comes in numbers but he's alone
Fighting his demons with an iron lung
Past the Siberian desert sands
He stumbles upon an establishment
Inside the house, a room full of fiends
Waiting to feed on his shaky knees
With his revolving gun
He counts down from six to one
Grabs a drink with a touch of love
Then over the hills he goes
I do not know his name
He is just a bearded man
Little does he even know
Where his journey will go
Journey of the bearded man
An illustrious tale of redemption
Tommy took his one and only friend
To the grave, he swore he'd avenge
Against all odds in gale force winds
The lights went out to limit his presence
Stormed the brig and set it ablaze
To complete the deed he'd promised
With a sigh of relief, he left that day
Across the Atlantic Ocean
Back home to his native Ireland
I do not know his name
He is just a bearded man
Little does he even know
Where his journey will go
So three cheers to the man with no fear
A swan song to the life he will leave behind
The impression you give is what they receive
He'd say, "anything is possible if you believe"
I do not know his name
He is just a bearded man
Little does he even know
Where his journey will go
I do not know his name
He is just a bearded man
Little does he even know
Where his journey will go
